BioCote Ltd shines at Hospitality 2009
SILVER TECHNOLOGY HELPS BUSINESSES TO SHINE
BioCote Ltd, leaders in silver antimicrobial surface protection, will be at Hospitality showing how their technology can help businesses differentiate their products to stay ahead of the competition in today’s challenging economic climate.
BioCote Ltd works with product manufacturers and provides them with the technology and technical support to make their products antimicrobial, giving them the ability to stop the growth of bacteria and mould. BioCote® utilises silver ion technology, which is incorporated into products at the time of manufacture. With built-in antimicrobial protection, levels of dangerous bacteria, such as E.coli, Salmonella, Campylobacter and Listeria, are reduced by up to 99.9%.
This additional product feature means products are cleaner, safer and more hygienic to use, making them ideal for environments where hygiene is a priority, such as commercial kitchens, gyms, toilets and bathrooms.
Products with antimicrobial protection such as BioCote® have a number of benefits to hospitality service providers. BioCote® protected products complement hygiene practices, working in-between cleaning to reduce bacterial contamination. With lower levels of bacteria present, an environment is cleaner and more hygienic and the risks of cross-contamination are reduced. BioCote® protected products can therefore help service providers follow a diligent approach to hygiene strategies such as HACCP.
BioCote® is already being incorporated into a wide range of products that can be used in the hospitality industry, such as Comark food thermometers, Link storage lockers, CFM Notile panels, Hygienic Contracting PVC cladding and the Dyson Airblade™ hand dryer.
Matthew Harte, Managing Director comments, “In today’s business climate, manufacturers need to differentiate their products from their competitors. By working with BioCote Ltd, manufacturers have access to an innovative technology, market leading brand and the technical and marketing expertise of the BioCote team. They can then sell their products to the hospitality sector who in turn can offer their customers the cleanest, most hygienic environments possible for their safety and comfort”.
